Electrical Engineer IV

Description: As a member of the product development technical staff, the Electrical Engineer IV will design and development electronic circuits and complex systems from fundamental requirements and end user scenarios. The duties include total life cycle, modeling of said circuits and systems using both numerical methods and closed form/exact techniques as well as QA/QC and after sales support. The staff member will ultimately be responsible for the realization of circuits, systems and subsystems through industry standard synthesis, schematic entry, layout and component sourcing. The candidate should have a thorough knowledge of microwave circuit design, modeling of analog and digital systems, modeling of microwave circuits, machine mathematics and complex system digital design using hardware descriptor language. As a minimum, the candidate should possess a B.S. degree in electrical or electronic engineering with five to ten years of direct related development experience. The candidate having several years of military service and experience in electronic warfare, digital data link communications and ISR system design and troubleshooting a plus. Government Contracts Compliance Officer

Description: API Defense, Inc. seeks an experienced Government Contracts Compliance Officer (Compliance Officer) to implement, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures designed to ensure compliance with all applicable Government contracts laws and regulations, including but not limited to ethics laws, the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA), and the allowability of costs under FAR Part 31. The Compliance Officer may participate in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, subcontract agreements/awards, subcontract request for proposals (RFP), competitive and sole source justification/vendor selection, flow down requirements enforcement and pre/post government audits and/or internal contract and system audits. The Compliance Officer also may represent the company in meetings with the customer to include PCO, ACO, DCAA and senior level government representatives. Additional responsibilities include: advising staff of contractual obligations and requirements, maintaining excellent configuration control of data and historical information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of contract performance requirements and delivery schedules and providing contract acquisition support in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications/regulations. A Bachelors Degree with three to five years of direct related experience and a good working knowledge of the FARs/DFARS with particular knowledge of FAR Part 31, FAR Part 15 requirements implementing TINA, and FAR Part 3 ethics requirements, a general knowledge of the Federal contracting process (from acquisition to contract settlement), and knowledge of contract types is preferred. Must be proficient with MS Excel, Word, Project and Power Point and knowledge of JAMIS software is a plus. Apply for this position >>
